Jean Jacket pizzazz supply list 

A jean jacket that fits—check your closet, thrift shops or consignments shops and don’t forget ebay.  It can be any color that you wish.  Or if a jacket isn’t for you—a vest will the perfect choice. 

Sewing machine in good working order and manual

Extra machine needles either jean or topstitch needles

Basic sewing supplies: scissors, seam ripper, pins, ruler, marking pencil, hand needles, thimble, thread, etc.  

Fabric motifs of your choice: Asian theme—ladies, flowers, birds, etc.  Southwestern theme, Floral, Animal, Bird, whatever you wish.  Thread to stitch the motifs. 

Fusible to secure the motifs to the jacket 

Beads, beading thread and needles (sharps). 

3-4 yards of trim for the cuffs, front and bottom edge and back seams.  Any type of trim or lace that is less than ¾ inch in width—thread to match
