I will supply a kit for the box for $5--includes painted paper, and stabilizer

Other items needed to make the project simple

Open toe embroidery foot (optional)

Sewing machine with free motion capability

Several bobbins of colored thread to match thread used in the machine for stitching

Iron and parchment paper or a Teflon sheet

Pencil or pen for paper

Paper scissors

Fabric scissors

Ruler & rotary cutter

Pins

Stitch and tear for stabilizer

Lunch

1/2 yard of 2 different fabrics - one for the lining and one for the box

1/2 yard peltex or timtex

Variegated thread or metallic thread
