Asian Flowers beaded

The base of the beaded quilt is Timtex and
cotton batting. The image was drawn on the Timtex and hand beaded with seed beads. The quilt was backed with a
piece of fabric covered fusible and ironed in place.
Beads were stitched to fill the empty spaces. A hanging sleeve was added.
Asian Flowers aka Japanese Flowers in an exhibit in Dayton
Ohio at the Aullwood Center
and Farm. Their goal is to promote the protection of birds, other wildlife and
the habitats on which they depend. Aullwood offers both children and adults the
opportunity to experience and appreciate the world through experience-based
education. The exhibit is June 14-August 10, 2008
